Mercedes Cruz, known to her family and friends as “Ed", went on to be with the Lord on Feb. 25, 2016 at the age of 59.  Her heart gave up during an angioplasty procedure at the Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center.  Her parents Constantino I. Cruz and Lourdes R. Cruz preceded her in death.  Loving and devoted sister to Gigi, Bobong, Ollie, Boyet, Jeng, Ember and May; She is the favorite aunt to many nephews and nieces.  As the eldest sibling, she had dedicated most her life to helping the family.  She had the most generous, loving heart and touched many lives with her presence.  With a beautiful smile, vivacious laugh, she lived life to its fullest, and no matter what it was she was going through she kept her faith, positive attitude and cheerful disposition.  Her family and friends will always be thankful for the gift that was her life.

The viewing and memorial services will take place on Wed. March 2, 2016 at the First Church of Nazarene, the Wile Bldg. 3401 W. 3rd St. @ Vermont Los Angeles, CA 90020.  Viewing is from 5:00pm - 7:00pm and Memorial Service will commence shortly after.
Rev. Manny Salva Cruz, Pastor
