Drew Robert Stocker

September 29, 1995 ~ January 4, 2021 (age 25)

Drew Robert Stocker, 25, was welcomed into the arms of his Savior on January 4, 2021,

while residing in N. Hollywood, CA.

Drew was born September 29, 1995 at Community Hospital in Aberdeen, WA to Stephanie Anne (Miller) Stocker and Charles Andrew ‘Andy’ Stocker. He attended Stevens Elementary, Miller Jr High, and graduated from J.M. Weatherwax H.S. in 2014.

Drew started playing Pop Warner Football when he was in the 2nd grade, where he met and played with a group of special teammates that would play with him through his H.S. career.  Drew bled blue & gold for his Bobcats. He also wrestled, played basketball & baseball.  He cherished his football days most and in his Sr. year, he helped lead his team to some exciting play-off games. Ones which most of us will never forget.

When Drew was about 7 years old, he and his sister Bailey got quads and they spent numerous hours creating a dirt track in their front yard together, riding on it until dark. Their childhood was mostly spent outside, playing baseball in the yard and riding bikes with their neighborhood friends. He later loved his game of Xbox & playing video games with friends and online.

Drew loved BIG – he loved Jesus, his family and friends more than anything.  He loved his sports, specifically the Seahawks and Mariners.  He had a love for music and spent some time DJ’ng in CA and in WA.  Drew had a special bond with his childhood dogs Newman, Moose, and Meatball.  He loved adventure and the recent purchase of a motorcycle proved this – he loved riding with the boys...

Family and friends will remember Drew as a handsome young man with sparkly blue eyes, the best laugh, and the biggest heart. They will remember him as a funny jokester (often inappropriate) and one that could make anyone smile.  If he was in the room, you knew it!  His beautiful, contagious smile and wit will forever be missed.  As his name suggests, Drew, drew people to him.  He always had a ready ear to listen to anyone who needed to be heard.  His loved ones believe he is now coaching a heavenly team and serving up a KFC buffet after practice.

He leaves behind so many who loved him – parents Stephanie Stocker (Gabe Lopez) and Andy (Given) Stocker, sister Bailey Spurgeon, step-siblings Collin & Moriah Martin, grandparents Charles & Vicky Stocker, uncle Joseph (Beverly) Miller, cousins Jimmy (Brandy) Miller, Nik (Christa) Miller, Hadyn and Linkoln Miller, Aunt Danielle (Mike) Mackelwich and cousins Michael & Nick Mackelwich. Drew is also survived by three special people in his life, ‘brother from another mother’ Dyllyn Rhodes, girlfriend, Alyssa Lee Delatorre and dear friend/mentor, Joshua Jack.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joe & Alice Miller.

Life on earth held its struggles for Drew, but he held tight to the hope of heaven & his unshakable belief that he was created for a purpose & loved beyond belief by his creator. “And he will wipe away all tears from their eyes. There will be no more death, no more grief or crying or pain … and now I make all things new.” Rev. 21:4-5

Due to CoVid restrictions, we must postpone having a service.  There will be a Celebration of Drew’s life when restrictions are lifted and we can all  gather safely.  We will notify everyone accordingly.
